DPIRD - Weather Data Platform Cloud Migration

Interfuze was engaged to design a scalable cloud-based architecture and migration plan of the eConnect Weather platform (responsible for delivering free weather data service to WA growers and relevant organisations), to ensure alignment with DPIRD's overall cloud adoption strategy. DPIRD selected Oracle Cloud to host the new solution due to architectural alignment with the existing on-premise system, resource upskilling, risk reduction during migration, and ongoing cost-effectiveness.

”Interfuze provided a clear approach contributing towards a reduction in migration and operational risk, enabling the successful migration of DPIRD's weather platform to the cloud. This resulted in a successful migration which was delivered on-time, under-budget, and with no impacts to business operations. Their level of professionalism and effective communication was an essential part of the success.”
